Impact Of Power Gods In Your Life
Powerful Ways Of The Supreme Trinities
They are very powerful gods and have manifested themselves in certain incarnations to subdue evil forces in some form or the other. Goddess Pratyangira Devi, Lord Narasimha and Lord Sarbeshwara are the terrible aspects of Maha Shakti, Maha Vishnu and Maheshwara, respectively. Goddess Pratyangira Devi has a lion head and is also called Narasimhika due to this. She comes from a deep, dark space within the divine Mother called the void. Here time is unknown and fear, anguish, loss or pain is unheard of.
She has a dark complexion, lion headed and ferocious, red eyed and rides a lion and in four hands she holds a trident, a serpent in the form of a noose and a damaru or drum and a skull. When her energy manifests, it’s often a very swift and a ferocious current.
The Veda Puranas say that the Goddess emerged from the third eye of Sarabheswara—a manifestation of Lord Shiva—with 1,008 lion heads, 2,016 hands and a blood stained tongue lolling out. She rides on a majestic chariot pulled by four lions, representing the Vedas.
According to ancient scripts, after slaying Hiranyakashipu, Lord Narasimha was in a destructive state and the gods of heaven were terrified. Shiva tried to calm him in vain. He took the form of Sharabha, with two heads, two wings, eight legs of the lion with sharp claws and a long tail. Seeing this, Lord Narasimha took the form of Ganda Berunda i.e. a ferocious two-headed bird. At this time, from one wing of Sharabha, Goddess Prathyingara appeared.

Lord Narasimha is the fourth avatar of Lord Vishnu and is widely known for His incarnations on Earth from time to time to eradicate evil and restore Dharma or righteousness. After the death of his brother Hiranyaksha in the hands of Lord Vishnu, his brother Hiranyakashipu observed severe penance to attain immortality. He also wanted to rule the three worlds. A pleased Lord Brahma appeared before him and on request granted him a strange wish with many stipulations like no human or beast, god or devil, indoors or outdoors, in sky or earth, day nor night can cause his death.
Equipped with such a powerful boon, he became arrogant and pompous, and wanted the people of all the worlds to chant his name. But his son, Prahalada didn’t heed to his father’s words and recited ‘Narayana’ instead. The furious demon tortured his son in all possible ways and finally asked the little boy whether his all-pervading Narayana existed in pillars too. When the boy nodded his head, the demon king struck a powerful blow against the pillar with his mace and there appeared Lord Vishnu mighty and enraged in the form of Lord Narasimha, a half human and half lion form where the lower body is that of a human and upper body of a ferocious lion. He lifted the demon and took him to a doorway during dusk and tore open his upper body and drank the blood. Thus in a way, Lord Brahma’s boon was justified as the Lord was neither human nor beast.
But the story does not end here. The avatar god was uncontrollably angry even after killing Hiranyakashipu while the three worlds trembled in fear. Lord Brahma appealed to Lord Shiva who in turn sent his lieutenant Veerabhadra to cool Lord Narasimha but his effort turned futile.
So Lord Shiva took the form of Saraba, a bird and came to be known as thatls how got the name Sarabeshwara. This is the thirtieth avatar of Lord Shiva out of the total sixty four incarnations. His two huge wings housed Soolini Durga and Prathyankira Devi, and also presented Himself with eight legs, a nose that resembled an eagle’s and four arms had sharp claws that carried fire, serpent, a deer and goad. The terrible energy of Lord Narasimha transformed itself in to a bird Kandaberunda and a fight ensued with Sarabha. Lord Pratyangira came out of the wings and struck a mighty blow to Lord Narasimha. Kandaberunda was carried up to the sky and dropped to the ground. He was destroyed instantly and Lord Narasimha reappeared and realised his true self.
He praised Lord Sarabeshwara with beautiful which came to be known as Ashtothra or 108 names of the victorious God.
He declared that the two super powers are one like water and water, milk and milk, ghee and ghee, both inseparable and worshipped as one.
Undoubtedly, all the three power gods are Super Trinities and worshipping them through rituals and ceremonies brings all round benefits to the devotee. Their powers are unmatched and no evil powers can defeat them whatsoever.
